Raekoja plats, also known as Town Hall Square, is a town square in the center of Tartu Old Town in Tartu, Estonia. It is a venue for numerous festivals like Tartu Hanseatic Days and several bars and restaurants are located in the near vicinity. The fountain and sculpture 'Kissing Students' is located in front of Town Hall Square. The square is lined with Classicist buildings and features a carillon of 34 bells in the Town Hall tower, which is the oldest and largest in Estonia. The square is a favorite meeting place for Tartu residents and hosts various events and activities throughout the year
