Hetshepsut's Temple

The Mortuary temple of Hatshepsut is a masterpiece of ancient architecture, located in Luxor, Egypt. It was built during the reign of Pharaoh Hatshepsut of the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt and is considered one of the greatest ancient Egyptian achievements. The temple consists of three levels, each with a colonnade at its far end, and features a unique design that reflects the life cycle of the pharaoh from coronation to rebirth. The temple's walls are covered with beautiful painted reliefs depicting temple rituals, religious festivals, and the transportation of obelisks from the quarry to their destination in Karnak Temple. The temple also includes sections for the cults of Hatshepsut's revered father Thutmose I, the goddess Hathor, and the funerary god Anubis
