The Giza Zoo is a zoological garden located in Giza, Egypt. It is one of the few green areas in the city and includes Giza's largest park. The zoo covers about 80 acres and is home to many endangered species, as well as a selection of endemic fauna. The zoo has a variety of animals, including mammals, birds, and reptiles, such as giraffes, southern white rhinos, common hippos, brown bears, and Nile crocodiles. The zoo also has a petting zoo and offers a chance to spend a day at the zoo. The zoo is a member of the African Association of Zoos and Aquaria and is working towards getting re-accredited by the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums
