What to expect

Downtown El Gouna is a vibrant area in El Gouna, a tourist city located on the Red Sea in Egypt. El Gouna has 10 kilometers of coastline and consists of 20 islands surrounded by lagoons. The town is known for its beautiful beaches, including Zeytuna Beach, Mangroovy Beach, and Moods Beach. It also features a variety of buildings designed by European and American architects to resemble traditional rural Egyptian architecture. Downtown El Gouna is one of the three main areas in El Gouna, along with Tamr Henna Square and the Abu Tig Marina. The area is home to the El Gouna Mosque and a Coptic Orthodox church, the Church of St. Mary and the Archangels. El Gouna is also famous for its watersports and hosts the annual El Gouna Film Festival. The town has a hot desert climate, with sunny weather all year long and temperatures ranging between 17 °C and 33 °C
