Isabela Island, also known as Isla Isabela, is the largest island in the Galápagos Islands, with an area of 4,586 km2 and a length of 100 km. The island is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including wild tortoises, marine iguanas, and a variety of bird species. The island's unique geology, with its six shield volcanoes, provides excellent examples of the geologic forces that created the Galápagos Islands.
