The Centro de crianza de tortugas terrestres is a tortoise breeding center located in the southeastern part of San Cristóbal Island in the Galápagos, Ecuador. The center is situated near Cerro Colorado, one of the few sites where the endemic plant Calandrinia galapagosa can be found. The center aims to improve the population of giant tortoises on the island by providing a natural environment for them to breed and develop. The center features a visitor center with an interpretation room, conference room, gift shop, bar, and restrooms, as well as a breeding center with a herpetology laboratory and growth enclosures. Visitors can observe tortoises and other species such as the Galapagos dove, warbler finch, and vermilion flycatcher. The center also offers guided tours and is a great place for photography and filming. The surrounding area is home to various native and endemic plant species, including the uña de gato, manzanillo, and guayabillo trees
