What to expect

The Cueva de las Maravillas, also known as the Cave of Wonders, is a national park located in the province of San Pedro de Macorís. The park features an underground cave that is 25 meters deep and 800 meters long, with ancient drawings and pictograms created by the Taíno culture. One of the main attractions is an artificial lake that acts as a mirror, reflecting the upper part of the cave. The park is home to a variety of flora, including 48 natural species, and features several pictographs, including a cave painting that represents a funeral ritual. The cave is a great place to visit for families, with its natural beauty and easy accessibility making it one of the most impressive natural attractions in the country
