What to expect

Brunsnæs in Southern Denmark Region is a popular spot for kitesurfing. The season for kitesurfing goes from April to November, with air temperatures ranging from 10-20 C° in spring, up to 30 C° in summer, and 10-16 C° in autumn. Water temperatures are around 8-13 C° in spring, 18-23 C° in summer, and 8-14 C° in autumn. A wetsuit is always needed, and for off-season visits, a thick wetsuit or drysuit, mask, shoes, and gloves are recommended. The spot is characterized by shallow water, chop, and small waves, with a small sandy beach and a small launching/landing area. Kitesurfers should be careful about other beach users, especially in June and July, and watch out for bridge, stones, and stakes when on the water. The best moments to visit are March, April, May, September, October, and November
