Brunsnæs in Southern Denmark Region is a popular spot for kitesurfing. The season for kitesurfing goes from April to November, with air temperatures ranging from 10-20 C° in spring, up to 30 C° in summer, and 10-16 C° in autumn. Water temperatures are around 8-13 C° in spring, 18-23 C° in summer, and 8-14 C° in autumn. A wetsuit is always needed, and for off-season visits, a thick wetsuit or drysuit, mask, shoes, and gloves are recommended. The spot is characterized by shallow water, chop, and small waves, with a small sandy beach and a small launching/landing area. Kitesurfers should be careful about other beach users, especially in June and July, and watch out for bridge, stones, and stakes when on the water.
