Sneglehuset, also known as The Snail House, is a unique house in Thyborøn, Denmark, decorated with thousands of snail shells and conch shells both inside and out. The house was created by Alfred Pedersen, a fisherman and artist, as a gift for his wife. It features intricate designs, including spirals, flowers, hearts, and arches, and even a seashell mosaic of a mermaid. Visitors can explore the house, which functions as a museum, and see an exhibition of bottle ships made by West Jutland fishermen. The house also has an ice cream café and a small shop. The surrounding area offers additional activities, such as surfing at Thyborøn Surfcenter and skateboarding at THEMIS Skatepark.
