Nyhavn is a colourful and captivating iconic site in Copenhagen, with a rich history as a commercial port and now a popular spot for restaurants, jazz, and relaxation
Plan your family visit to the Nyhavn with these blog insights 👇

Activities: We spent an hour or so wandering around Nyhavn, checking out the boats, grabbing a quick hot-chocolate and taking the obligatory selfie on the bridge
Highlights: We enjoyed taking the obligatory selfie on the bridge and exploring the street together as a family ✨

Activities: We went back to Nyhavn, the colorful harbor in Copenhagen, with the kids. It’s the first place we wanted to take them to this time, as they had grown up since our last visit. We even took a one-hour cruise from the harbor, which was perfect for families
Highlights: We loved seeing the kids’ reaction to Nyhavn. It brought back good memories from our last visit and it was fun seeing how much they had grown ✨

Activities: We explored the city, including the Nyhavn canal district. Overall, Copenhagen was perhaps grittier than I imagined – less picture-postcard-perfect that the cliché images of the Nyhavn canal district portray, but all the more interesting for that
Highlights: The Nyhavn canal district was a beautiful and charming place to visit, but we also enjoyed the grittier side of Copenhagen ✨

Activities: We explored Nyhavn, a former commercial port in the 17th century. We saw colorful buildings and ships that lined the canal, creating a very lively atmosphere
Highlights: We loved the vibe and energy around here and even managed to eat at one of the outdoor areas ✨

Activities: We loved walking around here. We ate dinner at one of the restaurants here and loved the lively atmosphere and sitting in this famous, historical area
