Aphrodite Nature Trail

The Aphrodite Nature Trail is a beautiful walk on the Akamas Peninsula in Cyprus, offering stunning views over the blue lagoons. The trail is 8km long and takes around 3 hours to complete, with a high point of 370m at Moutti tis Sotiras. The trail starts from just above the Baths of Aphrodite and follows the mythical route taken by Aphrodite and her lover Adonis, passing by a magnificent 860-year-old oak tree at Pyrgos tis Regainas. The trail is a mixture of loose gravel and larger rocks, requiring occasional scrambling, and surefootedness is required for the steep, switchback descent.
