What to expect

The Sloth Sanctuary of Costa Rica is a great place for families to visit and learn about sloths. The sanctuary offers two types of tours: the Buttercup Tour, which is a 1-hour tour where visitors can meet the sloth ambassadors in their protective enclosures, and the Insider's Tour, which is a 2-hour tour that includes a behind-the-scenes visit to the NICU/Nursery. The sanctuary has a strict no-touching policy to ensure the safety of the animals. The place also has a Buttercup Inn, where visitors can stay and explore other area attractions. The sanctuary provides a fun and educational experience for families with children, with opportunities to learn about sloths and their conservation
