(If they are younger than that, you can always carry them in a backpack carrier) La Fortuna Waterfall is gorgeous and cascades fall into an aqua blue water. It’s not too far from La Fortuna downtown area and it has convenient amenities like lockers, changing areas, gift shop and cafe. It also has about 500 stairs to get to the waterfall

Activities: We visited La Fortuna Waterfall, also known as Catarata RÃo Fortuna, and enjoyed being able to take in the natural wonder after trekking down the infamous stairs
Highlights: The kids loved it too, and we enjoyed the beautiful, aqua blue water in the pool below, where they could play on the rocks and enjoy the cool water ✨
