The Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, also known as the Chen Clan Academy, is a traditional Chinese academic complex in Guangzhou, China. It was built in 1894 by the 72 Chen clans for their juniors' accommodation and preparation for the imperial examinations. The complex consists of 19 buildings with nine halls and six courtyards, covering an area of 13,200 square meters. It features a symmetric pattern and is decorated with traditional Chinese architectural styles, including wood carvings, stone carvings, brick carvings, pottery, stucco relief, iron and copper casting, and colored drawing. The hall now serves as the Guangdong Folk Art Museum, showcasing a variety of folk arts and crafts. It was added to the list of 'Cultural Relics of National Importance under the Protection of the State' in 1988
