Vieux-Québec, also known as Old Québec, is a historic neighbourhood in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and comprises the Upper Town and Lower Town. The area is filled with European charm and offers a rich history, with over 400 years of stories to tell. Visitors can stroll through the streets, take a walking tour, and discover the area's architectural treasures. The Upper Town is home to many historic buildings, including the Château Frontenac, and features commercial streets like Saint Jean and Sainte Anne. The Lower Town, located at the bottom of Cap Diamant, is a historic district with restored French flair and features places like the Church of Notre-Dame-des-Victoires and the Musée de la civilisation. The area is perfect for families to explore and learn about the city's history and culture

Quebec – July 11 to 14, 2022
Activities: We spent our first day with a traditional walk around the Vieux-Québec. We discovered the Musée Parc Canada dedicated to the forts and castles Saint Louis, had lunch in the old town, went window shopping, watched street performances and tasted Beaver Tails
Highlights: It's one of our favorite places. We loved the street performances and the taste of Beaver Tails. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the historic buildings and the overall atmosphere of the old city ✨
