The McCord Stewart Museum is a public research and teaching museum that showcases the history of Montreal and its influence in Canada and around the world. The museum has a collection of 2.5 million images, objects, documents, and works of art, including a collection of 27,000 garments and accessories, and a photography collection of over 2.15 million images. The museum also has a collection of Indigenous Cultures, with over 16,000 objects that document the ways of life, arts, cultures, and traditions of Indigenous communities in Quebec.
