Habitat 67 is a housing complex located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It was designed by Israeli-Canadian-American architect Moshe Safdie and originally built for Expo 67, a World's Fair held in 1967. The complex comprises 354 identical prefabricated concrete forms arranged in various combinations, creating 146 residences of varying sizes and configurations. Each unit has a private landscaped garden terrace, and the development was designed to integrate the benefits of suburban homes with the economics and density of a modern urban apartment building.
