What to expect
Orwell Corner Historic Village is a charming historic village that depicts life in Prince Edward Island in the 1890s. Visitors can engage in fun, family-friendly activities such as feeding farm animals, exploring the Agricultural Museum, trying their hand at blacksmithing, and taking a horse and wagon ride. The village also features a general store, church, and schoolhouse. Daily programming is available, specially designed to keep children happy while learning and having fun. Visitors can also stroll through the beautiful gardens, have a picnic, or enjoy a homemade lunch in the Tea Room at the Community Hall. The village offers various experiential programs, including 'In the Time of Maud' and 'Food on the Farm: Bread and Butter', which provide unique and immersive experiences for visitors

Activities: We visited the Historic Village of Orwell, which offered a reconstruction of a late 19th-century village and an exhibition on the daily life of farm families. The children were able to pet the farm animals and bottle-feed the calves
Highlights: The exhibition was fascinating. Even the boys read all the panels. Lucie and Aubin were delighted to pet the farm animals and feed the calves. The General Store was sublime ✨
