What to expect

The Distillery District is a commercial and residential district in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, east of downtown, which contains numerous cafés, restaurants, and shops housed within heritage buildings of the former Gooderham and Worts Distillery. The 13 acres district comprises more than forty heritage buildings and ten streets, and is the largest collection of Victorian-era industrial architecture in North America. The district was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1988. It's a great place to spend a day, from shopping to eating to attending markets or listening to music as you stroll the old-world streets. There are many unique boutiques, art galleries, coffee shops, patios, breweries, and bistros scattered throughout the district. The district also hosts various events and markets throughout the year, such as the Distillery Winter Village and the Distillery Fall Market, making it a charming and family-friendly destination
