Fletcher Falls is a scenic destination located on the shores of Kootenay Lake, featuring a small yet powerful waterfall, a fine elongated sandy beach, and a wilderness hiking trail. The recreation trail leading to the 50-foot waterfall is an easy grade, downhill trail following along an old access road and then onto a single track hiking trail. The trail crosses Fletcher Creek on a bridge and winds into the grotto at the bottom of the falls. There are also picnic areas and backcountry camping spots available, with four campsites that are first-come, first-served and fill up on weekends. The hike is considered easy, but the terrain can be challenging due to roots and rocks. The falls are a beautiful sight to behold, especially during spring run-off, and the surrounding area offers a refreshing hiking experience leading to a lush grotto
