Paint Pots

Paint Pots is a destination in Kootenay National Park, located in British Columbia, Canada. The park offers various hiking trails, including the Paint Pots trail, which is an easy walk to three iron-rich mineral springs that stain the surrounding earth a vibrant ochre colour. The park also features scenic views, glaciers, and a variety of wildlife. Families can enjoy short hikes and walks, such as the Juniper/Sinclair Canyon trail, Redstreak Campground trail, and the Letwilc7úl̓ecw trail, which offers a grassland restoration area and interpretive signs about medicinal plants.
