What to expect

Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary is a non-profit sanctuary dedicated to driving awareness and education surrounding wolfdog ownership. The sanctuary is home to over 55 wolfdogs, including ambassadors that help educate the public about their unique nature and the importance of wolf conservation. Visitors can take a self-guided walk through the sanctuary, viewing the various packs of wolfdogs at their own pace, or participate in guided tours, including an interactive tour where they can learn from wolfdog experts and even feed the wolfdogs. The sanctuary prioritizes the well-being of the wolfdogs, with large and natural enclosures, and offers a wheelchair-friendly experience. Children are welcome, but must be monitored at all times and kept close by, and there are age restrictions for certain tours. The sanctuary also has a visitor centre with souvenirs and resources on wolfdogs and wolves
