Mount Edith Cavell is a mountain in Jasper National Park, named after a British nurse executed during World War I. The mountain offers stunning views, fragrant subalpine forest, and flowery alpine meadows. Visitors can take the Path of the Glacier trail, a short and well-used trail that takes you toward the great north face of the mountain, or the Cavell Meadows trail, a moderately steep but well-graded trail that offers spectacular views of Angel Glacier. The area is home to a variety of wildlife, including pikas and golden-mantled ground squirrels. However, visitors should stay on the trails and avoid approaching the Angel Glacier due to the danger of falling boulders and avalanches of snow and ice
