The Legacy Trail, also known as the Rocky Mountain Legacy Trail, is a 26.8 km long paved pathway that connects the towns of Canmore and Banff in Alberta, Canada. The trail is a celebration of the values of Banff National Park and encourages visitors to explore the landscape in an environmentally friendly way. The trail is suitable for cyclists of all abilities and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. It has a gentle elevation gain of 30m and is estimated to take 2-3 hours to complete. The trail also features multiple rest spots, picnic areas, and informative interpretive panels. The trail is accessible from mid-April to mid-October and is a great activity for families to enjoy together
