Vitosha Mountain is a popular destination for hiking, skiing, and sightseeing, located just 7 miles south of Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Vitosha is also home to a ski resort in winter and a chairlift for sightseers in summer. The mountain has a rich history, with the first Alpine club in Bulgaria founded at its peak in 1897. Visitors can enjoy stunning views, diverse flora and fauna, and a range of outdoor activities, making it an ideal destination for families and nature lovers
