Prohodna is a karst cave in north central Bulgaria, located in the Iskar Gorge near the village of Karlukovo in Lukovit Municipality, Lovech Province. The cave is known for the two eye-like holes in its ceiling, known as 'God's eyes'. It is the longest cave passage in Bulgaria, with a length of 262 meters. The cave has two entrances, the Small Entrance and the Big Entrance, which are 35 meters and 42.5-45 meters high, respectively. The cave owes its name to this feature, as 'Prohodna' means 'Thoroughfare Cave' or 'Passage Cave'. The cave is a popular location for speleology and bungee jumping. There are also traces of prehistoric habitation in the cave, which testify that humans lived in the cave during the Neolithic and Chalcolithic periods. The cave is part of the Iskar-Panega Geological Park, one of the largest karst regions in Bulgaria. The 'God's eyes' formation is a unique feature of the cave, with two equal-sized holes in the ceiling of the middle chamber that let in light into the cave
