Sugarloaf Mountain, also known as Pão de Açúcar, is a peak situated in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on a peninsula at the mouth of Guanabara Bay. The mountain is 396 meters high and offers breathtaking 360-degree views of the city and beyond. Visitors can take a cable car to the top, which runs along a 1,400-meter route between the peaks of Sugarloaf and Morro da Urca. The cable car ride is a popular tourist attraction, and the mountain is also a great spot for rock climbing, with over 270 routes. The mountain is protected by the Sugarloaf Mountain and Urca Hill Natural Monument and is part of a World Heritage Site declared by UNESCO. The views from the top are stunning, especially during sunset, and there are also gift shops, restaurants, and a small theater with informational videos at the base and on the mountain
