Olympic Bobsleigh and Toboggan Track

Bobsleigh track Sarajevo, Federation of Bosnia Herzegovina, Bosnia and Herzegovina

What to expect

The Olympic Bobsleigh and Toboggan Track is a derelict bobsleigh and luge track situated on Mount Trebević, overlooking the city of Sarajevo. The track was built for the 1984 Winter Olympics and features a unique design with three segments for recreational and training purposes. Although it was damaged during the Bosnian War, the track has been partially restored and is now used for summer luge training and as a hiking route. The track's scenic location and historic significance make it an interesting attraction for visitors. The surrounding area offers stunning views of the city and the Dinaric Alps, and the track itself is covered in vibrant graffiti. Visitors can walk down the track, which is about 1,627 meters long and features 13 turns, and enjoy the scenery and the thrill of being on a former Olympic track
