The Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque is a historic mosque located in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was built in 1618/19 and represents a large construction of classical Ottoman architecture in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The mosque has a one-space floor plan with a dome and a porch with three domes. It also features an extraordinary well-crafted mihrab and mimbar. The mosque is placed on the cliffs of the Neretva River, in the centre of the city, and offers a unique location. The mosque was badly damaged during the war in Bosnia but was restored between 1996-2001. It is one of the most popular touristic destinations in Mostar and is known for its preserved original decorations and paintings. Visitors can relax in the spacious courtyard, which has benches.
