The Buddha Dordenma statue is a 54-meter-tall bronze statue of Shakyamuni Buddha located in Thimphu, Bhutan. It is one of the largest sitting Buddha statues in the world and houses over 125,000 smaller Buddha statues. The statue was built to fulfill an ancient prophecy to emanate an aura of happiness and peace around the world. The statue's base contains a meditation hall, and the surrounding Kuenselphodrang nature park offers a peaceful environment for visitors to reflect and meditate. The park also features a bicycling trail and hiking trail for adventure seekers. The statue is a significant cultural and spiritual landmark in Bhutan, representing the country's commitment to preserving Buddhist values and promoting Gross National Happiness
