Dochula Pass is a mountain pass located in the Himalayas within Bhutan, on the road from Thimphu to Punakha. The pass is marked by a magnificent cluster of 108 Chortens, known as the Druk Wangyal Chorten, which were built in honor of the fourth king, His Majesty King Jigme Singye Wangchuck. The pass offers breathtaking views of the snow-capped mountains, including the majestic Gangkar Puensum, and is a great spot for nature lovers, history enthusiasts, and spiritual seekers. The slopes around the pass are adorned with cypress trees and colorful prayer flags, which hold deep religious significance for Buddhists. Visitors can enjoy the peaceful ambiance, stunning views, and reflect on Bhutan's rich cultural heritage. The pass is also home to a variety of flora and fauna, including rhododendrons, primulas, and magnolias, which bloom in profusion after the Losar festival in February
