What to expect

The Geowanderung Hotton, located in the city of Hotton, Wallonia, Belgium, is a unique natural site featuring the Hotton caves, a geological gem. The caves are considered the most beautiful in Belgium and offer a breathtaking visit, taking you 65 meters underground to explore a fantastic maze of galleries, look over a 30-meter deep sinkhole, and be wowed by delicate curtains made of stone and incredible shapes and colors of concretions. The site also includes the Calestienne garden, which presents the region's flora and fauna, and offers stunning panoramas and walks. For families, the site offers birthday party packages, including a caving trail, fun storytelling, and cake and gifts for all. The caves are not accessible to people with reduced mobility, as the tour counts 700 steps. The temperature in the cave is 12°C all year round, so it's essential to dress accordingly
