What to expect
The Körbersee is a picturesque mountain lake located in the Lechtaler Alps in Vorarlberg, Austria. It is situated at an altitude of 1600 meters and can only be reached on foot. The water has excellent drinking quality, and the lake's surface is about 5 hectares in size. There is a restaurant near the lake, and the Berghotel Körbersee is located right by the lake, offering a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the crisp mountain air. The lake is also a great spot for nature lovers, with gently rolling alpine meadows and peacefully grazing cows completing the idyllic scene

Körbersee with children: easy hike in Vorarlberg
Activities: We hiked to Körbersee, which was chosen as the "most beautiful place in Austria in 2017". We also walked around the lake, admiring the mountain scenery and the tadpoles. We even had lunch at the Berghotel Körbersee
Highlights: The kids loved seeing the tadpoles and exploring the Kraxel-Felsen. The views were stunning, and the Berghotel Körbersee was a great place for lunch. The whole experience felt like "Austria as if from a picture book!" ✨
