The Natural History Museum Vienna is a large natural history museum located in Vienna, Austria. The museum's 39 exhibition rooms cover 8,460 square meters and present more than 100,000 objects. It is home to 30 million objects available to more than 60 scientists and numerous guest researchers who carry out basic research in a wide range of topics related to human sciences, earth sciences, and life sciences. The museum features a collection of meteorites, including the world's largest and oldest collection, with 1,100 rocks that 'fell from the sky'. The dinosaur hall presents the skeletons and remains of gigantic prehistoric animals, including a lifelike allosaurus. The museum also has a 'Venus Cabinet' showcasing the 29,500-year-old 'Venus von Willendorf' and other prehistoric artifacts. The museum offers guided tours, including rooftop tours with a unique view of Vienna's Old City, and has wheelchair accessibility, with the exception of the roof guide.
