What to expect

The Burggarten is a public park in the Innere Stadt, the first district of Vienna, Austria. The park was built for the royal family after the destruction of the city fortifications by Napoleon. It features several statues, including a statue of Francis I, Holy Roman Emperor and Archduke of Austria, a statue of Mozart, and a statue of Franz Joseph I. The park also has a fountain with a statue of Hercules and the Nemean Lion, and a Palmenhaus, a greenhouse that serves as a butterfly house. The park is a great place to visit with family and friends, with its beautiful gardens and historic buildings

Activities: We strolled through the Burggarten. The goal was the Tourist Information at Heldenplatz, then on to St. Stephen's Cathedral. It was a planless stroll
