Activities: We took a day trip to Mondsee Lake, a beautiful lake in Austria. We visited the Basilica St. Michael, a pale yellow basilica that was used as the wedding location in Sound of Music. The kids played in the lake and the spray fountains
Highlights: The kids loved playing in the lake and the spray fountains. We all enjoyed the picturesque scenery and the charming town of Mondsee. The basilica was also a beautiful sight ✨

Activities: We visited Camp Austria at Mondsee. The first impression was sobering. The place was overcrowded and the pitches were too small. We were moved to the originally booked pitches, where it was much nicer, although also quite cramped. There was a pontoon to get into the water and the kids jumped from there
Highlights: The kids loved jumping into the water from the pontoon and swimming in the lake. The weather was mostly good, and the surroundings are beautiful. There was a nice restaurant with a terrace ✨
