The Goldenes Dachl is a late Gothic oriel window in the Old Town of Innsbruck, Tyrol, Austria. It is considered a symbol of the city and features 2657 fire-gilded copper shingles. The building was constructed in 1420 as a residence for the rulers of Tyrol and was later expanded to include the oriel window. Today, the Goldenes Dachl houses the Museum Goldenes Dachl, which offers insights into the history of the building and the city of Innsbruck. The museum is wheelchair accessible, making it a great destination for families with children. Visitors can also attend the annual Golden Roof Challenge, a sports event held in front of the building
