The Silvretta-Hochalpenstraße is a 22.3 km long toll road that runs from Partenen in the Montafon to the 2,032 m-high Bielerhöhe as far as Galtür in the Paznauntal over 34 hairpin bends. It is one of the most beautiful and popular panoramic roads in the Alps, offering a spectacular mountain scenery and access to numerous hikes, tours, and summer activities. The road is also known as the 'dream road of the Alps for connoisseurs' and is a popular destination for motorcyclists, classic car enthusiasts, and mountain bikers. The Bielerhöhe at the summit of the Silvretta High Alpine Road is a popular starting point for numerous hikes and offers a fantastic panoramic view of the Silvretta lake nestled in the magnificent high mountain landscape

Activities: We started our short vacation with an exciting trip on the Silvretta-Hochalpenstraße. We drove from Partenen im Montafon over the Bielerhöhe to Galtür in the Paznauntal. We stopped at the Silvretta-Stausee. We had dinner at Silvretta-Haus and then drove down to our accommodation in Vandans
Highlights: The drive was beautiful! The landscape became noticeably wilder and rougher after the toll station in Galtür. We enjoyed the views from the Silvretta-Stausee. The dinner at Silvretta-Haus was delicious. The kids were happy to go for a drive after school and kindergarten ✨
