What to expect

Strobl is a municipality in the Salzburg-Umgebung District, located on the eastern side of Lake Wolfgang in the Salzkammergut resort region. The town has a population of 3,645 and an area of 93.88 km2. It is a paradise for families and nature lovers, with beautiful natural bathing beaches, pleasantly warm water temperatures, and sun-drenched ski slopes. Visitors can enjoy swimming, sunbathing, water skiing, and other water activities, as well as hiking and skiing in the surrounding mountains. The town is also home to the 'Animal Village' and the Abarena All-weather Theme Park. The nearby mountains offer scenic views, and the Schafbergbahn cog railway takes visitors up to the Schafberg peak. The area is popular for hiking and watersports in the summer, and skiing in the winter, with many pensions and hotels available for accommodation
