What to expect

Hellbrunn Palace is a Baroque villa with a large park, featuring unique trick fountains that spray water from various nozzles and spouts, providing a fun experience for visitors of all ages. The palace was built in the 17th century as a summer residence for the Prince-Archbishop of Salzburg and features a mechanical, water-operated theatre with automata, a grotto, and a crown that is pushed up and down by a jet of water. The palace grounds also include a zoo, a stone theater, and a small building known as the Monatschlössl, which houses an ethnographical museum. Visitors can enjoy the trick fountains, explore the palace and its surroundings, and learn about the history and culture of the region
