What to expect

Schloss Hof is a palace located in Marchfeld, Austria, that once belonged to Prince Eugene of Savoy. The palace was enlarged in the Baroque style and used as an elaborate hunting lodge. It features a Baroque garden, a large farmstead with workshops, and a variety of animals such as Lipizzaner horses and spectacled sheep. Visitors can explore the palace, the garden, and the farmstead, and learn about Baroque life through interactive exhibits and activities. The palace also has a Greisslerei, a café, and an orangerie. Families can enjoy the Irrgarten with an Aussichtsplattform and a Labyrinth, as well as a Streichelzoo where children can get up close to various animals

Activities: We visited Schloss Hof, the biggest of the Marchfeldschlösser. We enjoyed the Streichelzoo, Laufrad-Parcours, Kinderführungen, Kugelbahnen and a great Abenteuerspielplatz. We also experienced the laufenden Veranstaltungen like the “Der große Ferienspaß”
