Weißensee is a municipality in the district of Spittal an der Drau in Carinthia, Austria. The municipality is located on the shore of the Weißensee lake, which is the fourth largest lake in Carinthia. The lake is 11.6 km long and has a surface area of 6.5 km². The municipality has a total of seven villages, including Techendorf, Gatschach, and Neusach. Weißensee is a popular destination for outdoor activities such as hiking and fishing. The municipality is also part of the Alpine Pearls tourist cooperation and has 192 accommodation establishments. Activities: We went ice skating and played hockey on the Weißensee. We found some other kids playing hockey, so Flo and Dad joined in. Ben and Mom got drinks. We played hockey for over 6 hours
Highlights: We had fun ice skating and playing hockey on the frozen lake. It was a little rough at first, but we got used to it. The kids especially enjoyed playing hockey with other kids, and having Almdudler and Apfelstrudel ✨
