Kalbarri Pink Lake – Hutt Lagoon

Hutt Lagoon, also known as Pink Lake, is a marine salt lake located near the Indian Ocean coast in Western Australia. The lake is known for its vibrant pink color, which is created by the presence of carotenoid-producing algae. The color of the lake changes depending on the time of day, season, and amount of cloud cover. The lake is approximately 14 km long and 2.3 km wide, and its surface is usually dry during the summer months.
