Hutt Lagoon, also known as Pink Lake, is a marine salt lake located near the Indian Ocean coast in Western Australia. The lake is known for its vibrant pink hue, which is created by the presence of carotenoid-producing algae. The colour of the lake changes depending on the time of day, season, and amount of cloud cover. Visitors can view the lake from various points along Port Gregory Road, and it's a great spot for photography. The nearby fishing village of Port Gregory offers refreshments and accommodation options, including farmstays, chalets, and a caravan park. The area is also home to a variety of wildlife, including pelicans, and is a great place to visit between July and September to see the countryside blanketed in wildflowers
