The Gap

The Gap is a natural rock formation in Torndirrup National Park, featuring a rugged granite channel carved by the waves of the Great Southern Ocean. The Gap has a sheer drop of almost twenty-five meters and offers stunning views of the ocean and the surrounding coastline. Visitors can access the viewing platform via a raised pathway that leads from the parking area, providing safe access to the best views while protecting vulnerable plants and lichens on the rock surface. The nearby Natural Bridge formation is also accessible via a viewing platform, offering a less confronting but still impressive window to one of Australia's most exposed coasts.
