What to expect

The Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk is a 600-metre-long walkway that allows visitors to explore the treetops of the Walpole Wilderness. The walk is supported by a system of steel trusses, cables, and pylons, and is designed to cause minimal impact to the surrounding environment. The walk is suitable for all abilities and is wheelchair accessible, as well as stroller-friendly. Visitors can also explore the Ancient Empire, a boardwalk and sealed path trail that leads through the centuries-old tingle forest. The forest is home to native birds and plants, including some that have origins dating back 65 million years to the super continent Gondwana. The walk provides a unique sensation of standing inside a living tree and offers iconic photo opportunities

Fun family thing to do in Walpole & the Southern Forests, Western Australia
This family's experience:

Activities: We walked the 600m of suspended walkway, at its highest point 40m above ground level, and did it at least twice, once looking up and once looking down

Highlights: We were amazed how much more we noticed the second time, and the kids loved racing ahead! ✨
