What to expect

The Ancient Empire Walk is a 450-meter walk trail that takes you around and through some of the giant tingle trees, including the popular Grandma Tingle. The trail follows the story of the lost era of Gondwana and is a must-see during your stay in the south-west. This ancient and unique red tingle forest features a family-friendly boardwalk that is suitable for hiking, running, and walking. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime, with giant 400-year-old Red Tingle trees to explore. The walk is generally considered easy and takes an average of 7 minutes to complete, making it a great activity for families with children
