What to expect

Nambung National Park is a unique natural attraction featuring the Pinnacles Desert, where thousands of limestone pillars rise from the shifting yellow sands. The park also includes secluded white sandy beaches, such as Hangover Bay, perfect for swimming and snorkelling. Visitors can enjoy scenic drives, walks, and lookouts, as well as windsurfing and surfing. From August to October, the park's vegetation springs to life with colourful wildflowers. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including kangaroos, dolphins, and sea lions. Families can explore the Pinnacles Desert Discovery Centre, which features exhibits on the geology and cultural heritage of the area. The park's Lake Thetis has a boardwalk where visitors can view thrombolites, ancient structures built by micro-organisms
