Charles Knife Canyon is a scenic destination with breathtaking views of the rugged terrain of Cape Range and the waters of Exmouth Gulf. The canyon can be accessed via a winding road that takes you to the top of the range, offering spectacular views from either side. There are several scenic lookouts along the road that provide fantastic photo opportunities. Visitors can also access the Badjirrajirra Walk trail from the Thomas Carter Lookout, a moderately difficult 6km return walk that takes approximately three hours to complete. The trail winds its way through rocky gullies, small gorges, and open spinifex bushland. The area is home to a variety of native wildlife, and visitors can learn more about the species recorded in the area through the Atlas of Living Australia. It's essential to take caution when bushwalking in the canyon areas and to remain on existing walking trails. The best time to visit is early morning or late afternoon for stunning views
