The area features a 4km wide sandy beach, a beachside cafe, public toilets, and great picnic spots. Visitors can explore the Cape Bridgewater coastline, go on an ocean seal tour, or take a nature walk to the boatshed and seal colonies. The area is also home to a colony of up to 650 fur seals and has the highest coastal cliff in Victoria, making it an ideal spot to observe southern right whales in winter and spring. Additionally, the Cape boasts a large blowhole, karst solution pipes, and a petrified forest. Families can enjoy surfing, swimming, or strolling at Bridgewater Beach, and explore the nearby Bridgewater Lakes, which offer fishing, canoeing, and water-skiing opportunities
